“A fascinating walking tour with Mark Forbes”
This was a fascinating insight into Colombo. Mark is passionate about the history of Colombo and his knowledge of the local area outstanding. He knew all there was to know about the Fort area, Dutch Hospital and other buildings which are currently being restored. His passion for history and photography is evident when he walks alongside pointing out famous landmarks. And giving advice on where to get the best photographs.. The tea and cake stop at the Grand Oriental Hotel, was a treat. It gave us time to just sit and enjoy the scenery of the port before we headed off to the pettah ( Market) to take i the sights and sounds of everyday life in this amazing country. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who has half a day to spare in Colombo.
